Hunter turns 4!!

I can't believe that my big boy is four years old!! We celebrated Hunter's birthday this week by going up to pineview to finally get some boating in and then having a Big birthday bash at the house. Hunter was so excited about his birthday. He couldn't even wait until his party to open his presents from us.

The boys had a lot of fun boating and tubing with dad. Hunter said that I couldn't tube with him because "mommy would just fall off the tube." So I guess his teasing is going starts now.

We had a fun party at the house with a BBQ and pinata. All the little kids loved playing in the Giant sandbox that was built for Hunter and Easton. It got finished just in time for the party and was a lot of fun.

The day after Hunter's birthday the whole family went out to breakfast at Moore's...Yummmmm.

It was fun to finally get to spend some good time together as a family. Casey is so busy in the summer that we don't get to spend a lot of time together. Hopefully next time we go boating I'll be able to use my new board.

Fourth of July

More sparkler fun
We had a lot of fun this 4th of July. The boys loved the fireworks. With the exception of the high pitch whistles. We met the Anderson's, the Ingalsbe family, and my little sis Torri for breakfast at Moore's. Then we went swimming at the pool. It was soo much fun.
We went up to Pratt's for a BBQ and fireworks. We got to see all three valley firework shows from the backyard. It was way cool.
I can't believe how big my boys are getting. Hunter isn't growing facial hair, he got hold of the black marker on our way up to grandma and grandpas house. He colored all over his face. What do you do? I guess it's a good thing boys are meant to be dirty.

The Beginning of Summer and a Broken Leg

Broken Bones for Hunter

Hunter sporting his new red cast and stylish walking boot.

Here is a better view of his hip high cast

Baby bro is just happy he can wear muscle shirts now that it is summer

Hunter gave Baby Bro a star on his forhead for good behavior

This is Hunter's temporary cast

He couldn't put any weight on this cast so he had to play X-Box all day, totally lame!!

Lucky for Easton, Hunter can still drive him around in the jeep with his broken leg
So it is summer time and the kids are so excited about playing outside. Unfortunately for Hunter the outside playing will have to remain a little calmer for the next couple of weeks. He broke his leg on our trampoline!! He was jumping with his dad and must have landed funny. It is really a crappy deal, but Hunter doesn't seem to mind too much. He can still play around, but he can't ride his bike or get wet or anything like that. He has been driving Baby Bro around in their yellow jeep. At least he can still do that with a broken leg. It is so cute to see them cruising around. Hunter will go off the curbs to be crazy and Easton just laughs and thinks that it is the coolest thing ever. They are growing up so fast. I can hardly stand it. Anyway, we'll go back to the doctor on June 10 to hopefully get the cast taken off. We are all crossing our fingers for that.

The boys all loaded up and ready to go home

Casey finally got a few days off work so we loaded up the truck and headed off to Bear Lake. We love it up there. The kids had so much fun just hanging out and Casey and I had fun playing with the kids. Hunter loved riding his 4-wheeler on the beach. I can't believe how big he is. He is an awesome driver. He and Casey even went off some little jumps. Baby bro didn't get to drive his own 4-wheeler, but he had fun riding with daddy.
All in all it was a great break. We were able to relax and just have fun as a family. I hope that we will be able to do it again soon.

A little more winter fun

Casey got us both snowshoes for Christmas last year, so we decided to actually use them. It was so much fun to go do this together. We had no kids with us. It was such a beautiful day and the area was so nice. There was nobody around, it was just Casey, me, and a deer herd. I recommend snowshoeing to everybody. It is a lot of fun and doesn't require too much skill.

Skiing Snowbasin

Hunter has been skiing a few times this year with his dad and his Uncle Paul. He loves it so much. He has no fear so he tries to barrel down the hill. Baby Bro and I have to sit in the lodge or hang out at the bottom of the slopes because we are lacking in the skiing skills department. I promised Casey that I would take a lesson before the boys got really good at skiing. I have to be able to keep up with all my boys! Anyway, it has been fun to watch Hunter ski. He is awesome!
